Standard Issue Armory has one shop: 8510 Highway 150, Greenville, IN 47124. We are a veteran-owned Type 07 FFL and 02 SOT, and all work is by appointment only. Customers across Southern Indiana and the Louisville, Kentucky area schedule gunsmithing, Cerakote, FFL transfers, custom builds, and ammunition through that Greenville shop. We do not operate a separate storefront in Louisville or in any other city listed on this page, and walk-ins cannot be accommodated for transfer pickups.

If you are not local, our nationwide mail-in service lets you ship an unloaded firearm to our licensed facility for gunsmithing, Cerakote, or a custom build, and we ship it directly back to you when the work is complete.
How service works from any of these areas
Start by phone at (812) 364-1466 or through the contact form. Tell us what firearm you have and what you want done: a repair or malfunction diagnosis, an optic cut or other slide work, laser engraving, a Cerakote finish, a transfer, or a complete custom build. Every gunsmithing job is quoted based on the firearm and the work requested before any work starts, so there is no surprise bill for a job we have not discussed with you.
For local customers, we then schedule an appointment at the Greenville shop. Bring the firearm unloaded and in a case, the magazines you use with it, and, for slide work, the optic or at least its exact model so the cut matches its footprint. For mail-in customers, we explain the shipping steps for sending an unloaded firearm to a licensed manufacturer for repair or customization and returning it to you. Our closest service area is Floyd County and the Indiana side of the Louisville metro, including Greenville, New Albany, Jeffersonville, and Clarksville. From there our regular service area extends across Southern Indiana to Corydon, Salem, Scottsburg, Seymour, Columbus, Bloomington, Bedford, Jasper, and Evansville, and across the Ohio River to Louisville and other Kentucky communities, as well as Cincinnati, Ohio. Distance changes how we schedule the job, in person or by mail, not which shop does the work: it is the same Greenville bench either way.
