Bought a firearm online? Under federal law it ships from the seller's FFL to the buyer's chosen FFL. Name Standard Issue Armory as your receiving FFL and we will log it, run the required checks and schedule your pickup by appointment.

How a transfer works
Five steps from checkout to pickup:
- Purchase: at checkout, choose Standard Issue Armory as the receiving FFL and give the seller our contact information.
- We send our FFL: once notified, we send a copy of our FFL to the seller and coordinate shipping.
- Wait for our call: when the firearm arrives, we log it in our Acquisition & Disposition record as the ATF requires. Do not come to pick up until we call you.
- Schedule an appointment: pickups are by appointment only. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
- Pick up: bring a valid government-issued photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a NICS background check.

Standard FFL transfers are $20 per firearm. We also handle NFA items; contact us for current NFA rates.
Important notes
Federal rules and our policies:
- Tell the sending FFL that Standard Issue Armory will be receiving the firearm.
- We cannot transfer handguns to anyone under 21 or long guns to anyone under 18.
- If the NICS check is delayed or denied, we must hold or return the firearm per ATF rules.
- Pick up within 30 days or storage fees may apply.

Can I walk in to pick up my transfer?
No. Pickups are by appointment only. We call you after the firearm is logged in, and then schedule a time.
What do I need to bring to pick up?
A valid government-issued photo ID. You will complete ATF Form 4473 and must receive a NICS Proceed before the transfer is completed.
Where do I have the seller ship my firearm?
